What box set is that? The mega-box that originated in Korea?

How do you like the SACD? I think I might have bought this recording before I could even play the SACD layer ...

This Marcos Klorman may be related to the now defunct Desmar Records, as noted a few posts ago ...

The next time someone gets on their high horse and complains about Ana Popovic's album covers, I'll just say "Even the highbrow stuff knows how to get a buyer's attention". :uhhuh:

I finally got around to the two String Quintets--excellent playing and sound. Taneyev's extensive use of counterpoint creates thick, busy textures without sounding overly academic. I highly recommend this disc.

Note Someone posted the above just as I was writing this! I'm surprised there is little discussion of the upcoming complete and new remastered Glenn Gould (81CDs plus a large format book) due this Fall. Though the price is announced as $270 Canadian, it will probably be easy to obtain for $199 or even less. We had one person complain about that price, which is odd, given the new book and the fact that the old set often sells at $800.

I am more than happy to stick with the following set I bought back in 07. My outboard DAC will do the trick for me ...

A new box will set you back just under $1500.

Does anyone know if this box set will overlap with The Complete Bach Collection? The Bach box set is on Sony, but I *think* Sony owns Columbia(?)
