Did Phil Hartman design the Aja album cover?

    I know Phil did design album covers, and I recently saw Aja attributed to him. However, I cannot find any evidence that this is actually true.

    Great, thanks. I had a feeling it wasn't true. I wonder how that rumor got started, as I've seen several websites repeat it without any sources or evidence.

  6. He designed some for POCO including LEGEND. I worked for ABC when that came out and was given a poster sized lithograph of the Horse signed by the entire band. Unfortunately I have no idea what happened to it and I was always good about keep things from that time

    Which is pretty similar in tone to the cover of Aja. You can see how people would make that mistake.

    He did have a minimalist style, so that cover does kinda like one of his. I'd never heard that rumor, but I would not have been surprised at all if it had turned out to be fact.
