I love Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Eloy, Ashra and Anyone's Daughter. I also like Grobschnitt, Neu, Novalis and others.
Nektar have done some great stuff if you can call them "Krautrock".
I'm german, born in 1967, so I grew up with all that stuff. It doesn't sound as "exotic" to me as it probably does for many of you guys.

Love it. The classics like Can, Neu!, Cluster, Harmonia, Kraftwerk, and Amon Duul I I are top notch.

About a year ago I stumbled upon the Sky pressings of Michael Rother's "Flammende Herzen" and Roedellius' "Selbstportrait" and those are now among my current faves. Check em out if you dig Neu! or Cluster.

There's some amazing Can stuff on YouTube. The 36-minute, full-length version of 'Doko E' is rocking my world at the moment.

Saw Kraftwerk play live in Portland OR a few weeks ago. Didn't think they'd be able to convey their recorded output successfully from a stage. I was very wrong. It was an amazing evening.
