JL6161 already posted these guys in the "Post favorite & best new bands of the 10s" thread. Great band, if you haven't checked them out already, highly reccomended.

Really good albums. Strange Trails is a big leap forward from Lonesome Dreams.

Way cool. Bought both their albums and felt they deserved their own thread.

Yeah, Stone Turntable gets the kudos for turning me on to these guys in the Best Album of 2015 So Far thread; Strange Trails is just end-to-end great and compulsively listenable, if you like reverb-drenched affairs, which I heartily do. Also, Ben Schneider hails from Okemos, MI, so y'know, state pride. My only tiny quibble is I wish they still had their fantastic erstwhile guitarist Brett Farkas. Here they are on the (pre-Fallon) Tonight Show:

I saw them live in an audience of about 100 people of which a significant proportion had (like me) turned up to see the support. They were good enough for me to seek out their debut album but I haven't rushed to buy the follow-up ... a little of that very laid-back sound goes quite a way.

I checked them out when someone on the forum compared them to Fleet Foxes, a band I enjoy a lot .The comparison is apt; they're similar and excellent.

I heard "Time to Run" last week for the first time. It was my first exposure to Lord Huron. I must say, I'm impressed.

Very enjoyable music although somewhat samey. I own the first disc and will probably pick up the second one, as some have said it was the better of the two. Nice ambient music; sort of like "Man-Enya".

Just got both after my daughter dragged me to a concert in November. Strange Trails is going to be my favorite disc for a while. Trying to figure out who to compare them to; thinking Hooters.
