I was hoping he'd show up in "Creed" but this explains his absence. Duke was a cool character. Rest in peace.

Great in the Rocky films. And look, there he is in "The Shining"!

Loved him in Rocky.

Didn't realize he was in all 6.

 

I think he, Stallone and Burt Young are the only ones who appeared in all of them. The article says there are four actors who have that distinction, but I can't think of who the fourth could possibly be.

 

They are probably counting Talia Shire, though only archive footage of her is in the 6th one.
