I will make a point to get the 45. I'm a sucker for rare mixes officially released. I kinda got dooped on the cereal box records (though I suspected they would be low fidelity.....just not that noisy).

    Saturday's Child (Mono TV Version)
    b/w
You Just May Be The One (Mono TV Version)

I'm going to pretend this is the one that should have been inside my The Monkees Super Deluxe Box Set.....and that's where it will find it's new home.......if it fits......looks like it should.

Man, what a racket. They keep releasing this stuff with miniscule
differences. The bass up ... the bass down ... mono ... stereo! ... this
edition features "never before heard bongoes" ... I mean, they keep
farting around with these mixes so they can keep milkin' the cow
for the next 500 years ...

We don't even know what's on the bonus disc, but the mono TV mixes have been called for by fans who want to spend their money on them.

    But, thanks for rant.

You make a great point. What if someone is disabled or physically unable to visit a record store due distance? Hopefully the participating retail stores can find a loophole to somehow sell these online.

Really? The TV mixes are unique and authentic. These aren't modern remixes, but mixes done in 1966 that are different than other mixesof the two songs. As it with the Monkees, several mixes were done for many songs back in the day; stereo, mono LP, 45 and yes, unique TV mixes. Ron

I thought the idea behind Record Store Day was to get people in the stores, so the items are usually limited to in-store only. But maybe online later on?

Nah that's until after RSD. The following Monday you will be able to order. That's the whole idea of RSD.

I'm looking forward to the Changes remaster. The only real reason to get this set, for me at least.

I does look close to me. That extra bit of plastic at the top might not work, but the logo 45 itself looks about the same size as a 45. The boxes are slightly bigger that the 45 picture sleeves. It does look about the same size as the box sets, minus that extra plastic on top. It's going to be tight for sure. I just really want to put a 45 in that box.....for continuity.
