Very impressive. His voice is a little smoother and missing a slight bit of the grittiness that Fred had, but otherwise he's right there.

It would have been really interesting to see Queen + Marc Martel instead of Queen + Adam Lambert.

Yes, but the band were just a flash in the pan, weren't they? They only had one hit and their legacy is basically meaningless...

Did Freddy have a son? This kind of reminds me of the Billy Joel-Christy Brinkley match. Cross an ugly rock star with a super Model and you get a toned down version of the rock star, not a super model. If Freddie had a son with, say, Cheryl Teiggs you may well end up with a son who looks like this and sounds like Freddie. Pure conjecture, of course. Don't contact the tabloids.

But do we really want someone to sound just like Freddie Mercury? He was an original. Queen can truly never be Queen with his input. Sorry.

Yes we have to watch what we say here, because sometimes we are interpreted literally.
Sometimes though, it's hard to be humorous virtually. It doesn't always post in that context, or someone pulls it out of context.........

I don't think so. Maybe they should just be a new band, then there would be less comparing.
Brian May would be a good addition in any rock band, as long as he still wants to play/tour.

They can be Queen with Adam Lambert or Queen with Paul Rogers if they like but they'll never be Queen.

There are lots of singers with similar vocal range and talent to Freddie.

But what made Freddie special was the star quality, vocal range and talent, visual creativity, and progressive style of writing lyrics and composing music. And that's what makes him irreplaceable.

Also, no John Deacon = it's not Queen.

Roger and Brian have needed to take a seat for a long ass time now.
