Jason Statham would get the gig if only he could transfer the hair on his chin to his head.:)

You take his "Stringer Bell" character and switch him for good and you got it covered. A smooth ladies man with no hesitation to kill.

I guess money doesn't mean that much to him...I enjoyed his work as Bond. Hopefully they will find a suitable replacement...

I thought he was very charismatic in UNCLE-- ironically, reminded me a lot of Christopher Reeve, more so than the Superman movies.

The ads for popcorn and candy was better than "Quantum Of Solace". The dead air between the movie trailers was more exciting than "Quantum Of Solace". Truly a huge BOND mis-step, in my opinion!

Meh. I didn't dislike him in "UNCLE", but I just thought he felt like he was "acting".

Which he was, but he shouldn't have come across that way. He seemed like a plastic version of the character...

Ever watch 'The Wire'? I'm certainly not alone in thinking he did some great acting in that. He also has the requisite(for Bond) suave & sophistication.

well, bring Sean Connery back a third time, with a high-tech "Hologram" clone to fight off all those bad guys.

I though Spectre was an uptick for the Craig Bond's. At least it wasn't dreary and depressing.

    Didn't like the music.
Didn't like the end shoot out escape.
    Didn't like the Bond girl.
Didn't like opening credits manly man brut body lotion advertisement.
Didn't like the villiain( but the adopted story was good)
Didn't like the painting by numbers CGI opening scene.
Do like Daniel Craig and wish him the best of luck in his next endeavour.

Not exactly unexpected news. Craig had said after making Spectre that he'd sooner "slash his wrists" than do another Bond film.

It's still kind of a bummer cuz I have liked most of Craig's turns as 007 (the exception being Quantum of Solace).

Soooo, if it's time to play "Guess who's gonna be the next Bond" again already, I could definitely see Hiddleston or Cavill in the role.

If it were ten years ago I would've thought Ewan McGregor was a good pick, but he's already 45 years old. Craig is only three years older than him (48) and he's headed out the door. I imagine the producers would wanna go with someone younger (mid 30s) so they can get three or four films out of him. They're not likely to repeat the mistake they made with Moore and let another actor continue in the role until he's well past his freshness date.

Be great if the producers just went with a new Bond, per title every few years rather the young Henry Cavill for the next 10 years.

So just one actor per Bond title.

Jason Statham. Not great acting chops(Cavill :) ), more Karate chops.
Ewan McGregor. He would have to control his smile.
Jon Hamm. Can he hold a gun and fire straight? Steamy sex scenes, guess so. :)

Not long term, just one picture deal.
License To Thrill?(well at least me).
