I'm probably alone here but does anyone else watch some of the E/I (Educational and Informative) programs that are aired on over-the-air channels?

And yes, I know these are meant for kids but some of them really are well produced and fun. Besides, there usually isn't anything better on TV when they air these. :)

Antenna TV has a block of them on Saturday mornings that are cool- shows about animals, cooking (there's a cooking show focused on healthy cooking with some interesting recipies), and different parts of the U.S and Canada.

Some are good, yes, but some certainly push the line on what I'd consider educational or informative. (I guess it's the old "letter of the law" vs. "intent of the law" thing.)

Yeah, MeTV airs Saved By The Bell as E/I which... well I guess it is educational in a broad sense, but they're kind of pushing it.
