This is an Internet forum where people discuss their opinions - that's what I did... :sigh:

I went with a friend, I hated it so much I would have rather watched paint dry.

I've seen most things from Breaking The Waves onwards. I didn't mind The Boss Of It All, although I don't own it. I have yet to see The Five Obstructions, but the one film of his I didn't like was Europa. Dogville and Antichrist are masterpieces, the rest very, very good. He needs a comprehensive box set.

Watched "Reptilicus" (1962) again last night. Dunno if it's the worst, but it'd be in the running.

I thought that sucked when I was kid and loved monster movies.

Me, too on both counts. Nostalgia can have its dark side, too.

Yep. And I'll watch it the next time it's available.

Yeah, why not? Some bad movies lend themselves to personal Mystery Science Theater 3000 moments.

Hell, I keep the razzberries goin' throughout the whole thing; I'm just not as polite as MST3K.

I just thought of another one. Appaloosa with Ed Harris & Viggo Mortensen. A friend highly recommended this one to me & with the cast I thought it would be worth a watch. I was very disappointed with it. It's been a few years so I don't remember all the details, but it had a plot hole, or some bad editing that didn't make sense to me. The acting was wooden. Also, one badly done shoot out. Harris & Mortensen brazenly walk right up to a building they know is full of bad guys, to take on the baddies. Doors & windows fly open & the baddies blast our two good guys to pieces. They live. By the end of the movie I wished they hadn't. Directed & written by Ed Harris.

That's "so bad it's good" category. When I think just plain bad it's usually a movie that I couldn't even finish.

Everyone involved with Sharknado knew exactly what kind of movie they were making. It isn't meant to be anything more than it is, and really should not qualify for a thread like this.

Nazis at the Center of the Earth (2012), with the cyborg Hitler, is pretty offensive.

Philosophy of a Knife (2008), a pretentious and excruciatingly long Russian extreme gore fest, is-- except for a memorable bit with cockroaches-- stultifyingly boring. Four hours gone forever.

Yes, I saw (some of) it. It's the only movie I ever walked out of so I never found out if the guy with the constipation was ever cured.

Many years ago I read an interview with Lewis. This is near verbatim as I remember it:

Interviewer: "There are critics who say your films are worth further study."

Lewis: "They also say that about cancer."

That film was a "back door delivery" that the audience wasn't expecting.
    If the Shue fits...

I recall the near 2 hour ordeal was getting to be near unbearable.
I understand some artists torture themselves for their art; and employ method acting. But having the audience experience every excruciating painful detail isn't my preference of an enjoyable evening out.

LOL, not an ideal date movie.
