Hahahahaha....Ninety seconds of my life down the drain, laughing all the way...I was hoping some wiseguy had dubbed in one of the Dylan versions of Momma.

That depends. The best shows arent always the best sounding. Have to consider that.

Spectacular release. Because this 36CD set, at the end of the day, was clearly "Bob Dylan's $115 Dream" for us ;)

The other track was "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues", which was released as the B-side of "I Want You"? And included on The Band's A MUSICAL HISTORY

Oh no I hope the concerts are complete!

I don't mind editing out studio chatter for outtakes, but albums of live performances should be the complete performance, with all song intros, audience commets etc.

I mean just think of how much the Manchester show would suffer if they cut out the Judas comment!!!!

Part of that exchange actually was missing on Guitars Kissing (and of course Sony hacked up the acoustic half of the Manchester show for The Bootleg Series vol. 4):

    >someone shouts something almost as loud that sounds like it ends
    >with "...Dylan phenomenon!" Could Dylan have been responding to
    >that?

The entire interval from "Judas!" through "Play f*****g loud" is about 35 sec. After the "Judas!" cry there is a rumble through the audience that evolves into a cheer. The second shouter really lets lose in verbose mode. I've never been able to discern dirt for words here. Much of my hearing loss is attributed to countless hours spent with the volume at 10, the headphones on, & the Judas episode playing over & over...

But, yes, I always thought that Dylan ("You're a liar") was replying to the second person.

    >Interestingly enough, the newly circulating Columbia tape (the
    >version of that will presumably be released) cuts out those few
    >seconds in between. Talk about conspiracy theories!

Or it might mean that the "Judas!" heckler was a plant. Perhaps he showed up at all the UK dates as part of Dylan's entourage. This could mean that the "newly circulating Columbia tape" is of some other date than the generally accepted Manchester 17 May 66 concert. This horribly confuses everything!

Conspiracy? You mean they've watergated the tapes? Deleted the expletives? Aack! (Curiously, my copy of the alleged Columbia tape has the whole thing. Is Richard Nixon's secretary in your tape tree?

The information I was looking for wasn't posted (yet?) so I thought I'd try my hand in compiling it. Highlighted in GREEN are the recordings that have been officially released before; Highlighted in RED are the recordings that have been circulated on bootlegs on whatever quality; Highlighted in BLUE are the NEW unheard/uncirculated recordings.

Thanks to the previous poster for the dates and tracklist, anyone feel free to correct this (I'm sure I got something wrong here).

Thanks so much -- I was in the midst of looking over my Jewels and Binoculars contents list and doing the same thing for my own use, so you made my life much easier! This is such a joyous day, I don't even mind having a crappy little cold and zero voice!

Several shows were circulated as audience recordings and are now replaced (fully or mostly) with soundboards, so that's a step up.

The Liverpool show has two released tracks, right? (unless the "JLTT'sB" and "Tell Me, Momma" have been mislabeled on previously-released things, as discussed above)

Also, I'm drawing a blank -- where was the Dublin material released?

I had a rather rotten day at work today but the news of this coming out has got me making an evening pot of coffee with a smile on my face. Pre-ordered immediately and did my newest rendition of my happy dance. So happy.

I'm ordered up, start the clock... I ended up going with Bull Moose for not only the lowest price, and the free shp,
plus their in the U.S. Had problems with AmazonUK when I ordered my Lewisohn boxed book set... absolutely no
packaging, just thrown in the box... the corners of the custom book slip box had dented, push in corners.

Not sure if someone already noted this, but I admit that I purchased the Grateful Dead, Complete Europe 1972 box set, which was 73 CDs. And a lot of the same songs. 36 CDs doesn't seem like too much. Wow, as a guy that loves this stuff, it's like a dream come true. We are living in amazing times with stuff available that we never thought we'd see! And cheap!
