    mr_mjb1960 I'm a Tarrytowner 'Til I die!

Those Headache inducing A Cappella versions of Rock songs done for those stinking Honda TV Commercials! I always have to silence my TV-They come nearly every time the Local News Channel here breaks for a Commercial! One in Particuliar: The murdering of The Go-Go's "Head Over Heels"!

Shriner's Hospital commercials featuring lisping "cute" children asking for donations. :blah::realmad:

The commercials with the old "Can you hear me now?" Verizon guy advertising for a different provider and talking smack about his previous employer.

Anyone see the new Ice T commercial?

    Makes me chuckle every time.

The McDonald's ad with the guy getting coffee for everyone while singing, "Good morning, good morning!" Dear lord.

(Not the Beatles song, of course.)

The Liberty insurance commercial with the blonde saying blah blah blah blah.....

Makes her sound dumber than she looks.

Panera bread commercials with the voiceover artist that sounds like she's 13.

The Viagra commercials with the much too young looking women saying her man can't get ready without the little blue pill. My reaction is, isn't that her job?

The "Tomcat" rodent bait commercials don't bother me much, but my cat Harley is startled every time one airs -- it ends with the voiceover guy saying the name "Tomcat!" followed by the yowl of a snarling kitty cat. Harley jumps every time.

  16. Well...I drive an automatic so none of my gears are intentional ground but for me it's on demand where they often show the same commercial multiple times. Doesn't matter how good it is, you'll be sick of it by the second viewing.

    That was horrible.
It didn't make me want to go out and buy pretzels or even want pretzels.

I've had it with the Chevy guy and the commercials. The car next to the beautiful house and the vineyard (gee, what a surprise, they think the car is high class)--note they quickly dropped the ad where someone says "I'll take the house, too!". Now we get "you can only talk with emojis (sic)". How nauseating. 90% of people when told they might be on TV, will try and do whatever they can to please the person in charge so they get on TV. I hear his voice or see his face, the mute button goes on.

I can't stand commercials. Now less than ever. I turn on Norwegian TV and it's some scaremongering ad to make you feel like crap for the life you live. You're gonna work work work and be a 'normal person'.

Do they have ads for wood in Norway, by chance?

I'm not a fan of this one, with all of the odd innuendos.

Come to think of it, I don't like those other Allstate commercials, either, with the people talking in the voice of the deep voiced black announcer.
