So we know that vol. 13 will be the Gospel Years.

Can we start speculating about vol. 14? Will it be BOTT or something else?

    Hopes? Fears? Expectations? Rumours? Hunches?

Do we REALLY know that Vol. 13 will be the Gospel Years? Doesn't this basically come from that Rolling Stone article, or were there other sources too?

I think we should really hold out until the official announcement. These things have been shuffled around before for all sorts of reasons.

ISIS confirmation is good enough, surely?

Well we really should be thinking about Vol 15 as we know what 13 & 14 are gonna be.

    Peace and love✌

No, 14 has not been confirmed.

So, BOTT aside, what would you like to see? I would love a set of Good As I Been to You/World Gone Wrong outtakes. And a comprehensive set of NET cover versions. And Planet Waves sessions.

It was a joke based a number of people assuming 14 to be BOTT.
I'm very happy 13 is to be ( I hope) the Born again years. As for 14 much as I love BOTT I'd rather have something from the Street Legal era or a set that gives us the B sides etc that still have not been on CD yet.

    Peace and love✌

Maybe they'll combo them with the Bromberg sessions and the Supper Club shows.

Volume 13 hasn't been confirmed either. There's been no official announcement with a street date.

That would make for a great concept. I can't say that it's my favorite period though, because in fact, it's probably the era that does the least for me. Though I do love Blood In My Eyes. Still, the Supper Club stuff does sound good from what I've heard, and Dylan's people are clearly big fans since it gets mentioned every so often. So "padding" it out with those sessions would likely do it good in order to make it more than just a concert release, and also do the outtakes a favor by including the show(s?) as a ringer.

I would love to hear some live stuff from the NET, especially some of the shows he was doing around 2000 / 2001. I'm not sure how much of that stuff was professionally recorded, but that era has so many good acoustic arrangements and Bob's voice still had some harmony to it. I love the bootleg series, but I'm really not interested in these 18 cd sets, but that would change quickly if he did a comprehensive live release that spanned the last 30 years or so.

Gospel, BOTT, and then, I guess, Supper Club if the tapes are really good.

Pretty much. ISIS is just about as clued in on what's going on in the Dylan fortress as anyone outside the walls.

I'd vote for a compilation from recent years. A follow up to Tell Tale Signs would be nice.

I was actually going to post something similar.

Somehow, Self Portrait was reimagined as a Bootleg Series release and everyone thought it was great. I think the '82-'88 years could be presented similarly. Alternate takes, demos, and live stuff could make for an alternate history of that era independent of the actual LP's released during that time and be much more enjoyable to a lot of people.
