Makes me wish I had 4k, its a gorgeous show, one of the best looking (along with Breaking Bad) I've ever seen.

I sampled both on NF and IME streamed 4K is pretty much equal to higher bit-rate 1080P blu-ray. There is a tad more sharpness in 4K, but also some artifacts (not often and not huge) not present on blu. Now HDR would be a different story: I don't think those are available w/ HDR (not sure though); even if they were, I don't have that capability.

I’ll eat when I’m hungry, drink when I’m dry,

Well, if the flesh falls of your face because of those curly fries, you are correct: that man who says "they're on me" will be in your corner. After all, he knows how that feels.

That Dylan guy - giving away a "Breaking Bad" spoiler 15 years before the episode aired.

There's something really mind-bending about seeing Gus Fring say "come on in and try our new curly fries." o_O

I just recently watched several BB episodes during the AMC marathon. This was the season 3 Pollos Hermanos ad:

The rewatch was the first time I noticed that fine print at the beginning: "A registered trademark of Madrigal Electromotive GmbH"

At that time in season 3 I don't think we knew anything about Madrigal or that it even existed - so it was fun to see it during the rewatch.

It does kind of make me wonder - so why doesn't this new ad have the Madrigal disclaimer? Since this ad presumably is part of the BB prequel world, does that mean we will get to see how Gus hooks up with Madrigal in future episodes of Better call Saul? Could be interesting. I would love to see Gus and Lydia trying to have a business conversation. Do they even have Stevia at Pollos Hermanos?

Any predictions about when Season 3 will air? We are doing a marathon of BB and the first two seasons of BCS. We just finished season 5 of BB.

During the recent BB marathon on AMC, the promos said only "Spring 2017" - so must be later than last year.

Los Pollos Hermanos is open for business. Producers of “Better Call Saul” had a treat for reporters Saturday evening as AMC wrapped up its Television Critics Association presentation with a panel on the show’s third season, which bows April 10.

The surprise guest at the panel was Giancarlo Esposito, who played a key role in “Breaking Bad” as the meth supplier Gustavo Fring, who also runs a local fast-food chicken joint. Esposito got a round of applause as he walked on the TCA stage in Pasadena, Calif., confirming his involvement in the prequel series starring Bob Odenkirk.

Returning to the character was exciting for Esposito as an actor. But it’s a different Fring than the coolly efficient drug distribution middleman that he played on “Breaking Bad.” For one thing, he’s less experienced.
