This is the funniest Video Podcast out there right now. I've been watching/listening since the first episode with Super Dave. There's been 11 episodes so far, all very funny. Great guests and Norm is in fine comedic form thruout.
I listen to them all as well....Norm cracks me up even when his jokes bomb. Also you should put a NSFW with your link.
I love this show! Great interviewees, open format and generally very funny. But no new episodes since August, 2014. Anyone know if this show is coming back?
Replaced by Norm MacDonald: Live from KFC! I'm actually a pretty big Norm fan. I'd like to see new stuff, too.
EDIT - OMG you were serious! http://www.nydailynews.com/life-sty...d-takes-kfc-colonel-sanders-article-1.2329354
Unfortunately, I think Norm has moved on...The last episode with Jack Carter (RIP) is one of the best.
My own personal theory was that this podcast was basically Norm's audition tape to take on a network show...preferably The Late Show. His last podcast was about 4 months after they announced Colbert to be Dave's replacement. No huge evidence pointing to this..just a hunch.
He does mention many times that Adam is his sidekick and even explicitly mentions the idea of him getting a late night spot to Mark Maron on one podcast. And at least one guest suggests he should be doing more than the Podcast, that he was a bigger star. I thought he did well on that Sports show that he hosted, but as for him taking a late night spot, I don't think that is the best forum for him. So much of what made his Podcast funny and great involved the free rein he had to get as dark, as mean or as foul as he wanted to be.
I watched many of them I admit. It's like being glued to a train wreck (in my opinion). Norm can't resist telling every guest what his cohost was doing before they became friends. I just feel like I need to take a shower after watching these things. Most interesting moment for me: Norm gives Rosanne some pills to pop to help her with her anxiety or depression or whatever. Go to it Dr. Norm.
You aren't kidding. I was watching the new one while my girlfriend was getting ready for work. When he got to the beginning of the story of that story about the guy who was "a real jerk," I pretended to decide to switch to music. (And finished watching after she left.)
That Adam Eget guy, not a fan of his Holocaust beliefs at all. Now how he earned a living under bridges before landing a sidekick roll, well that's his business... Big fan of Norm and his show, and I'm looking forward to seeing if his new book is smoother than Charmin!
The book is very good. Not a traditional memoir. More like a comedic Kerouac "on the road" type piece. I really like Norm's podcast and glad to see it's return.
Yeah, I'd agree. Interesting mix of "truth" and just totally fabricated nonsense. His "version" of why he was fired from SNL is hilarious if you have any inkling of what really happened.
Every time I turn on his Nick Swardson or Gilbert Gottfried interviews, I'm more or less resigned to spending the rest of my night, or day for that matter, watching anything and everything Norm MacDonald. As for the odious fella seated next to him? Well I'm just gonna come out and say it. This Adam Eget ... I mean this guy's a real jerk! On a related note, Super Dave kills. Every time.
Was so excited to see this pop up in my YouTube feed the other day. I saw a list somewhere the other day that had a pretty sizable list of guests for this go round: Letterman, Seinfeld, Mike Tyson, Sarah Silverman, Margaret Cho, and Caitlyn Jenner.
