A Momentary Lapse Of Reason was a 4X Platinum album in the US. I rather doubt they're going to rework it.
Am i the only one who enjoys AMLOR even with its 80s production? Either way i dont think Gilmour has any interest to revisit or rework that album
Is the new reissue of Dance Songs available on CD, too? I know Delicate Sound, Relics, and Echoes got released under the PFR label on CD last year.
Whoops sorry, I must be behind the times on Floyd news as this is the first I'd heard that the AMLOR reworking had been cancelled. I can imagine why they might not pursue this as these sorts of remixes/re-imaginings are always controversial.
We're so fortunate to have rontoon as a contributor here. What this guy doesn't know about Pink Floyd probably never even happened.
Okay I didn't notice that because I don't see the cover sleeve that often. Could it be this slightly different cover was also used in the latest CD issue as well? Shame that Grundman sticker covers the birdman, maybe he looks different there, too.
I am a bit surprised about these 2 releases coming at this point in time. I would have prefered an augmented Relics released on 2 vinyl. A far more best seller IMO. I am undecided if I will get these 2 or not as I have NM original Canadian copies. Quite sure BG will however make them sound sweet...hmmmm...undecided
I heard (but didn't see yet) that the recent CD issue of Relics contains the original drawning by Nick Mason on the front cover. If there will be a new vinyl pressing of it I hope the blue artwork (as on the 1990s CD) will be included.
Get a room fellas Delicate Sound is my least favourite Floyd album by a country mile, and I have a NM original of Dance Songs so safe to say I’m sitting these out.
I also still have original pressings in near mint condition of DSOT and Dance Songs (which I never play) so I'm passing on these too.
Do they also plan to release the 1983 “Works” as well? It’s of very low interest to me. Patiently waiting for Pulse...One of these days as they said...
I doubt works will get released that was a Capitol release which features the quads of eclipse and brain damage obviously converted to stereo but i do like the speak to me heartbeat intro into one of these days
IIRC, Works didn't get the band's approval, possibly due the the inclusion of Embryo. So I don't expect this to ever get reissued. No great loss though imho.

They should also do another box set. Include the main studio AND live albums. Maybe a bit better packaging. Discovery was such a let down.
3 numbers left... Could be Relics, Echoes... and Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live (hopefully).
