....you're being led out of your home by court-appointed bailiffs who are already boxing things up while your ex-wife stands on the pavement with a hand on her hip, tapping one foot on the ground, and holding a taser.
So it seems the problems coming up over and over are - PITA when one has to move, having more LPs than they will ever listen to, and buying duplicate copies because of forgetting they already had a copy. Or perhaps The Who's "Boris the spider". Wait, crap, I have that LP. I need to go check for spiders.... You mean like playing choosing the LP with BB King's "the thrill is gone"? Good choice, good choice. hear hear. Never heard of that band. I know in the 80's there was OMD for Orchestral maneuvers in the dark. OK so I have only about 100 LPs but i know I don't have have OMD nor OCD. Didn't OCD do that song "round and round" as well as "the song that never ends"?
....You start a thread like this and on the same day go out and get new speaker cables, a cd player, phono pre amp and several new records.
Not only that, but when you sleep with an album, you're sleeping with every album that album has slept with.
...You file your lp's away alphabetically, and realize that just the "A's" take up an entire bookshelf.
Best answer I can come up with. If I don't have the time or interest to listen to it, a record really shouldn't be in my collection. It's all about listening to the music for me.
Haaaaaaaaaa...are you kidding me, I only have[1300]LP's and if I had the money I would be in the record store every day..MORE-MORE-MORE!!!!!
The obvious quick fix for that little spill is to just lean a pile of more records on the left side....! So, just go buy some more... A lot more!
