This already exists and is called Black Mirror.

In all seriousness, I'm not holding my breath, but am curious nonetheless.

Well, it can't be any worse than that awful movie Spielberg and John Landis did back in the 80s.

 

And silent. I warned the movie studios that talkies would never make it.

 

It could work. However, they should avoid remakes of the classic episodes. Give us new stories by good writers.

 

You know they won't be able to resist remaking some of the classics, possibly even for the second time (movie and previous TZ reboot).

I'm interested! I like the last remake series although many ppl trashed it...especially the remake of It's A Good Life... "It's Stll A Good Life" with Billy Mumy and his daughter...

well - CBS messes it up like they did Star Trek...it will be very expensive - full of special effects...and vapid..

I’d love to watch it, but I’m not paying extra every month to watch CBS shows on a CBS app when I’m already paying to watch CBS on cable

Maybe it and Star Trek Discovery will make their way into Netflix someday

Yeah, I'm sure there are lots of good writers out there who would love a shot at a Twilight Zone story.

One thing I love about Season 1 of the 80s show, is they didn't have a strict time standard. The show was one hour, but they sometimes had 2 stories and sometimes 3. It allowed for the stories to be short and sweet, or longer, depending.
