I see multiple listings at Discogs and at a few other sites I visited. Am looking to eventually sell this LP but not sure what it's 'worth' - it's still sealed in shrinkwrap, had a store price sticker on it from a record store chain (I think) that I peeled off the wrap. It's got RIAA on the back cover lower right and the front cover says Full Dimensional Stereo. I think I found it listed at Discogs though all copies had been previously open and played. Found a few listings, I think, for it, at Amazon marketplace, a couple sealed copies for between $50-$100. I guess it's the purple label from 1978? but then read an auction site that said the stereo version was very rare, but that may have been in reference only to the 1964 copy? Can upload a few pics in a bit since that would likely help. Any more info on the above would be much appreciated...

Dave, thanks very much for your reply.
Looks like I found it online. It's just like the front and back cover in the front and back cover pics in this link except it looks in like new condition...

...On the back cover above Made in U.S.A. it says " this stereo record should be played only with a stereo cartridge and needle to avoid damage.

It appears its in its original shrinkwrap, still, and the ink and colors (graphics) on the front and back covers look nearly brand new (to my eyes). If I can figure out how to send, upload, or post pics of it here, from my phone, I will.

The 12 next to RIAA indicates the sleeve was produced by a print shop that contracted to supply Capitol's Winchester, VA plant from 1970-1978. The one in the photo has slick construction so it is not the 1978 purple label -- by that time, the sleeve construction had switched to directly printing on poster board.

That means it is likely either an Apple disc, or orange Capitol.

By that time, stereo was not rare, it was the only format (Capitol stopped producing mono Beatles LPs by 1968).

I don't know what it "should" sell for.

I didn't choose an accurate sample pic. There is no # next to the RIAA on this copy (the one I have). Also, on the front cover there is no white border that goes around the photo, it's all black on the front top, bottom, and edge. If I wasn't a digital idiot then I could figure out the 3rd party photo network I guess. Oh well, I'll try again.
    Thanks for your informative post!

Cardstock cover, not cardboard, I'm guessing? Sounds like a late '70s or '80s copy.
