Is there some way I can vote for 'Crosscut Saw' eight times?

So many good songs... I have a special love for Him or me, Epistle to Dippy, Subway (such a great production!).

Most overrated by far: Brown eyed girl.

My favorite on the list is "Show Me" and, of course, it's in last place.

Love his Bang period, I'm a believer included but competition here is ultra tough.

    Magical Mystery Tour
    Light My Fire
    Brown-Eyed Girl

I seriously considered not bothering with the last three since they really don't need any more encouragement, but they made the cut, just. I would have loved to vote for Dave Davies, the Move or Love but their tracks here don't quite measure up.

It was painful to narrow it down to only eight selections. I mean how could I leave out Magical Mystery Tour, Arnold Layne, or Brown-Eyed Girl? And yet, I did.

    Here's my picks:

    Embryonic Journey - Jefferson Airplane
Death of a Clown - Dave Davies/The Kinks
I Can Hear the Grass Grow - The Move
Him or Me - What's it Gonna Be? - Paul Revere & the Raiders
    Epistle to Dippy - Donovan
The Golden Road (to Unlimited Devotion) - Grateful Dead
Light My Fire - The Doors
Little Wing - The Jimi Hendrix Experience

I could say the same about "I Can Hear the Grass Grow", which is one of the best psych singles of all-time. Still, thirty-five votes so far - so it is getting some love.

Used car lots, supermarkets, hotel cocktail receptions, dive bars, rush hour traffic, indoor waterparks, outlet centers, windowless white vans and also while on hold.

Did I ever tell you about the time I was on hold for 90 minutes while "You Can Call Me Al" played on a loop? Grrrrrr.

    "Brown Eyed Girl"

So, it's a popular song that is enjoyed by a wider array of folks than just music geeks that hang out on forums?

How annoying. How dare people listen to the same catchy songs over and over. Shame on them.
