Given your love, I first heard this when Lou brought round a white label, I played her some Reggae and African music, which she already had some knowledge and discussed politics Red Guitars - Good Technology
The Chameleons - Swamp Thing 1986 Original not remastered version. This may have been posted earlier, but was unable to find it due to the fact that most aren't posting the band and title in text - just the video. Please post the text of the band and track title so we don't get multiple postings!
Burning Sensations - Belly of the Whale Ridiculously cheesy in just about every possible way. But this one always lifts me up.
The forgotten album-version gem of the song, from Café Bleu: "My Ever Changing Moods" - The Style Council, 1984.
"More Than Just The Two Of Us," by a band called Sneaker. Great song, and their self-titled album also had a great cover of Steely Dan's "Don't Let Me In." It was actually this song that started my return to vinyl. One night, surfing the web in 2006, I was thinking about sings that I hadn't heard in a while. That song popped into my head, and I searched for the CD. It turns out that the CD is very rare, and it was easier to find on vinyl LP or 45 rpm. If only I had a turntable, I could play that LP. In fact, I could play that whole box of LPs from my basement. A couple of days of research, and I ordered a Pro-Ject Model 1 xPression from my local dealer. I've since gone deeply down the whole rabbit hole, two TT's later. And I brought four friends with me, all of which picked up TT's after my vinyl rebirth. So it goes!
FANTASTIC song. Should have been much more popular. Lead singer is Paul Simpson, later of the Wild Swans, whose first album likewise should have been much more successful.
