Since the standard carbon is $399 on Amazon you’re paying $50 for a sticker

The power switch should say "Start Me Up". For another $50 of course.

I pointed this out when they posted to their Facebook page - the logo isn't correct: the teeth are missing.
    Seems odd?

SSD appears to have updated their picture then - I linked to the photo on their original posting.

That was my first thought. Pretty hilarious.
I bet they didn't realize way back when Andy created that how future proof the design really is...drop the teeth from the print and now you have the ideal graphic for the 70+ rocker.

    That’s because he’s getting the pre-geriatric edition.

I wonder . . . what is the "platform" on which this is based, and what is the difference in price just for the sticker?

I don't see who would buy it anyway. It's not like a 1960's Beatles lunchbox that is collectible now. With ebay, etc....nothing is really collectible or rare. Unless you love the tacky graphics (maybe get one with a Playboy bunny), save the $50.

Maybe TT companies can take a page out of the overpriced guitar marketer's guide. Make "relic" versions (all numbered, of course) of turntables with manufactured dents, scratches, etc and tack on $1000. Sad part is....some would pay it

I’d rather a Dual or PE or even a Thorens for that price.

This one is a glossy Debut III with an OM10 instead of a 5, so it would be a $100-150 sticker.

I got one of these, and I love it! First table I've owned in 30 years....hooked into my Devialet, it sounds incredible.
BTW, I called SSD, and they were very cool and extended me a sweet discount even though I missed their sale.

I admit to being a huge Stones fan....saw them the night of my wedding in fact
