Fun Fact: Back in 1986, I used to think “Pomised Land”was a Meat Loaf original.

I find it interesting that My Ding-A-Ling is not even in the top 5 among the voters and it made it to number 1.

Route 66, Down the Road Apiece, yes I know he didn't write them but I love the way he did them.

I like those as well along with Don't You Lie To Me but I only included songs that charted or the list would have been too long.

"Wee Wee Hours", "Promised Land", "Never Can Tell" and "Run Rudolph Run" were my picks. Having said that, the complation is perfect as it is/was.

I would add "You Never Can Tell", "Run Run Rudolph", "My Ding-A-Ling" and "Promised Land". They're the best of what was left off...

I disagree. I Want To Be Your Driver is not one of Chuck's top tracks, at least not compared to some that were omitted.

I actually voted for No Money Down, Promised Land, You Never Can Tell, and Run Rudolph Run.

Are the biggest omissions to my mind. Beyond that I've always had a soft spot for Jaguar and Thunderbird, and I think another slow one should be represented so I'll go with 'Merry Christmas Baby' as the fourth.

Even though Chuck was aspiring to be a bluesman(before Muddy Waters cut that short) I still dig his few blues sides.Thank goodness he chose to rock out instead.R.I.P. Chuck(Mr.RocknRoll)Berry.

It took me a few seconds to think about it John. You Never Can Tell is a huge omission IMO. A brilliant meld of Rock and Roll and Country. My Ding a Ling for the novelty and Run Rudolf Run, Promised Land just because I like them.

Love his bluesy stuff. Among his best. So Wee Wee Hours for sure.

“The Promised Land” & “You Never CanTell” were glaring, obvious omissions. I went with “Dear Dad” because it rocks, sounds great, and the lyrics are superb. I went with “Jo Jo Gunne” because I love the quotes from other tunes in the instrumental breaks, and because I’m a sucker for tracks about feuding jungle animals.
