I heard the beginning of a radio interview with James McCartney. I had to turn it off, it was so painful to listen to.

Nils Lofgren's E Street Band setlist, 2002. Written by Bruce. Nils added notes on which guitar he plays on each song. My brother worked this show.

Chuck Berry signed autobiography, from the November 1994 press conference for the release of The Beatles Live at the BBC.

He slipped and closed the 4 so it looks like a 9. "Oops! I slipped. I guess you have a collector's item."

"Not if you die in 1998," I replied.

I'll add a Carl Perkins story related to the photos. This was a press conference, not a meet and greet. There was no line of people waiting to talk Carl or Chuck Berry when it was over, so I managed to spend a little time with them. They went to a booth and sat together, alone. I asked Carl if he was playing anywhere nearby soon (we were in New York City). He said no, but he had just recorded a new song he wrote for an upcoming Wynonna Judd album. "It's called 'I'm a Miracle," he said, and without hesitating he sang the entire song to me and my then-wife. Nobody else was around. An amazing moment.

Wynonna Judd has never put the song out.

Klaus Voormann and me, earlier this year.

Instead of asking him to sign Revolver (which nearly everyone was doing) or Anthology (the second most common choice), he signed my copy of "When We Was Fab."

"They got the colors all wrong," he told me.

John Berg's platinum record award for Switched on Bach. Berg designed the album cover, as well as Born to Run. I found this in my brother's apartment after he died. I do not know how he acquired it.

Here's a silly one. I met Sgt. Slaughter of the WWF at the Fort Belvoir PX circa 1987. He was there selling some zinc nose cream or something.

(He's the one on the right)

Program and penlights from a one-off Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band concert in Brooklyn, 2010. We went because we knew Eric Clapton, Klaus Voormann and Jim Keltner (members of John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band) were playing. Paul Simon was a nice bonus.

I found one of those inside a used copy of Splinter’s first Dark Horse album, with Glossy photos and some press stuff. Has a note from George which - for a moment - I thought was hand-signed. Pretty sure it was a photo copy, tho...
