Oh well, they did it again and guess they will never stop with these awful mock duets. There should be a law against it. It's so ridiculous.
Nobody of these so called duet partners ever sang with Frank. It's just like putting on a Frank recording and sing to it. I can record that in my living room every day. And when I do, can I claim that I sang a duet with Frank? Ridiculous!!!! :D
Laughable and yet I could cry

I was never a fan of those CAPITOL duets albums, but I have to admit to loving what David Foster did with the Celine Dion/Sinatra duet of "All The Way", which I found pure class and a beautiful arrangement. (And note, I'm NOT a fan of Celine Dion and I'm saying this!)

This made my day. Dean was the whole package, and funny as hell. Thanks for this.

If it’s the one with a silver box, yes I have it and it is quite good.

Is there any news about upcoming Sinatra (non-Seal) releases? Any new UMe vinyl reissues? New box sets?

Duets "from the grave" are known to be poor match-ups. This one is HORRID!

The match-up with Cyndi Lauper using the Columbia recording (done ages ago for a Christmas benefit CD) was bad...but it is far superior to this P.O.S.

It's embarrassing. Either FSE has lost their minds or are looking for cash by licensing this stuff.

This. It’s not adding to Frank’s legacy at all.

  17. The duets are used to keep Frank's name alive with younger generations. I see them as a decent way for more exposure. His profile with younger music fans keeps shrinking. Faked duets with relevant singers is better than nothing.

I'm no longer young, but I find that young people quite often like Frank, and prefer experiences that feel more authentic. They have my respect for both.

I’m not so sure younger generations are really keen on Seal...

    Nobody needs this duet. Crap.
The Christmas duet with Helene Fischer (2015) was nice on the other hand. I hate Seal.

The Christmas Duet with Helene Fischer was the most unworthy thing they ever did to Sinatra!!! Helene Fischer is an untalented German "Schlager" singer (or so called singer) who hasn't got anything to do with quality music. And I really don't think that a pairing with Sinatra and her would have been possible if he was alive. This is really a shame. And like I said, there should be seriously a law against such things. That Fischer duet really hurt!
Can't understand how the Sinatra family is able to tolerate such things. Don't they have any pride or respect for their father's legacy?
Like I said he would have never ever sang a duet with Helene Fischer. It's not only ridiculous but a farce as well!

WRONG! She‘s great and compared with some of the -no name-partners on those two Duets albums she is state of the art. Her Elvis-duet of „Just Pretend“ was fantastic too. So such insults like „untalented“ are out of place here.
The 2014 Brazil duet was the lowest point ever. Seal is just no go - period.

That's true, Bob! But I love Sinatra. He's part of my daily life since I'm 6 years old. And his legacy means the world to me. This is not about opinions. It's wrong to use his voice and recordings to pair them with people he never even knew.
