Very nice. Is it overpriced though? It's obviously extremely rare, but I think this is the least rare of all his 78s. Though they are so scarce that doesn't mean much! The labels look fantastic on this.

    Is it overpriced?

    Probably. Maybe.

There has been significant discussion about this title and its asking price on a FB blues group called "The Real Blues Forum", whose members include some of the very best-known pre-war blues collectors in the world. The consensus is that the seller is hoping to catch a monied buyer who simply can't resist buying an iconic 78 like this, even at an inflated price. Those same collectors are also cautioning that there has been a spate of really rare and great blues 78s come on the market this year, as a result of the sale of the collections of Paul Garon, the late George Paulus and the late Don Kent....and that when those 3 collections are sold off, there will be a lengthy dry spell of availability of the truly great recordings from the likes of Robert Johnson, Charlie Patton, Son House and others.

I'm good. I'll just stick with the 45 rpm from the Centennial set.
