No guessing here, a simple yes or no. And please, this is not the place to discuss how you feel about the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. That topic has been discussed ad nauseam here. Personally as far as glaring omissions go, they have to be near the very top.

They've been doin their thing for 50 years. I think Garry Peterson and Jim Kale are the only original members who still continue with the band. Nevertheless, they made a lot of good music, and Burton Cummings had one of the best voices in rock n roll. I say put them in.

  8. I was just thinking of this as I've been on a Guess Who bender lately (probably due to the reissue of the two disc American Woman from Iconoclassic). If anyone has extra versions of their albums they want to sell (except for "10", "Flavours", "Power In The Music", "Artificial Paradise") PM me as I missed some of the early reissues/ :)

    My response--
    1) They had the hits
    2) Terrific songwriting
    3) As one of the first and one of the best bands out of Canada, they deserve to be recognized.
    4) They've had their share of drama

    So, Yep.

Yes and include ALL band members from 1962 to 1975 , but I somehow don't see that happening. It would probably just be the core 4.

By the way, I don’t think they’ll get in. The RRHOF is a crock on so many levels. There’s no sense of consistency or standards on who gets in.

I voted "yes", as they were one of a few artists that really helped pave the way for other Canadian acts to have success in the U.S. in the late 60's and into the 70's.

Yes on the basis of the AW riff itself if nothing else (played to death? Yes, but as iconic as Rumble).... and there's soooo much more
