I think there were rumours in 2013 that a 40th Anniversary edition would be released. Just imagine something like this:

    1) DVD/Bluray with 5.1 mix
    2) CD with original 1973 European tracklist
    3) CD with original 1973 American tracklist (with Big Tree, Blue Sea remake)
    4) CD with new Steven Wilson remix ;-)))
    5) CD with an alternate album with outtakes, demo's, single edits etc.
    6) DVD with live material from the era
    7) LP on 2x45 RPM
    8) Repro of 7" Radar Love with multiple sleeves added

    :-D

I have no idea - most of my Neil Young collection is in HD resolution, except for these two AND Harvest Moon. This is just wishing - I have no idea when they might come out.

  3. Looks perfect!!! I’d be first in line, that’s for sure.

I have the new First Aid Kit and Hendrix on pre-order.

It would be nice to see vinyl re-issues (not re-masters) of albums that currently go for very silly used prices. George Michael's Older; D'Angelo's Voodoo; u2's Zooropa and Pop (and ATYCLB), and Tom Petty's Wildflowers spring to mind. And the Stones Brussels Affair.

It would also be nice to see Amazon.uk matching some of the price offers that its French, Italian and German counterparts have been doing e.g. the recent German 3 for 2 box set offer, and the French vinyl albums for 10 euros.

Can we hope for a decent new Stones studio album, and respectful treatment of the Prince vaults ?

Paul Weller and Van Morrison: keep up the good work !

    Preorders:
    - Grateful Dead - 'Dicks Picks' Volume 8 - 5LP Box
    - The Savory Collection 1935-1940 Mosaic Box
    - Miles Davis & John Coltrane - The Final Tour: Bootleg Series Volume 6

I also plan on pre-ordering the Doors 'Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970' Blu-ray at some point, as well as the upcoming Small Faces 'Autumn Stone' reissue when it is announced.

    Rumours:
I'm most excited for the rumored Led Zeppelin release in 2018. A 1968 show, Bath 1970 or Japan 1971 would be wonderful!

    Hopes, Dreams, Aspirations:
For me, probably the mythical release of the Doors complete 1967 Matrix Club recordings. However, I've wanted this for close to a decade now and am not holding my breath.

I believe there is a more comprehensive box planned, but are they indeed intending to reissue complete albums? I have a bunch of BluSpec reissues but those only go up to Farenheit and I would love to get remastered versions of Seventh/Desire/Tambu.

I'm looking forward to new music (announced so far) from:

    Anderson East
    First Aid Kit
    Kimbra
    Beth Hart
    Till Bronner
    Rhye
    Nana Mouskouri
    Melody Gardot
    Laurie Anderson & Kronos Quartet
    Bettye LaVette
    Jacintha
    Holly Cole

As far as reissues, I hope the Volume 2 (and 3) of the Lou Reed RCA & Arista Vinyl Collection gets released. Also, the PJ Harvey cancelled vinyl releases from a few years ago.

Just pre-ordered this -Melody Gardot - Live In Europe - don't have any of her albums but liked the song Bad News that just been released and the little trailer.

Do you know if there are any plans for a DVD, as it looked like shows had been recorded?

It looks like this was recorded from a variety of shows.

I haven’t heard of a companion video version, so it will probably be like the Kate Bush album “Before The Dawn” released on audio but not video.

I know there was a live in Paris blu-ray from a few years ago.

Oh, I'm also hoping beyond all hope that the Amelie soundtrack gets a vinyl pressing. This is such a beautiful score by Yann Tiersen and it is a shame it has never been pressed on vinyl.

Also, would love for reissues of the first two Gomez albums since I don't really want to pay $100+ for each :/

A properly mastered vinyl reissue for the Stereolab back catalogue, like Tim Gane said he was working on 3 years ago.

Hoping that the upcoming Felt reissues are decent.

A nice vinyl reissue of Teenage Fanclub's Grand Prix wouldn't go amiss either.

Off the top of my head:

    For sure:
    Led Zep- live album

    Hopeful:
Neil Young - individual remasters from the last 2 box sets. I hope for jewel cases and not that garbage packaging. I don't want to re-buy the remasters of what I have already have either.
Stevie Nicks- DE editions of the 3rd and 4th solo albums.
Whitesnake Slide It DE- This will probably come out very late this year or very early 2019

    Not hopeful:
    Buckingham/Nicks reissue

Not a lot I can think of.

Would love this also......however as is the craze in Europe at the moment of releasing radio broadcasts, which are all perfectly legitimate, there is a Buckingham Nicks one being released - details in the link.

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Alabama-19...d=1515010614&sr=8-1&keywords=buckingham+nicks

Now many of these have been on bootlegs previously and sound quality can vary, but I think its worth checking out.

I have bought a few radio broadcasts. The ones I have gotten are pretty good. I usually wait for the reviews to come in from Amazon.
