That's a great one. 'The Chain' and 'Go your own way' are anthems. So well tailored and produced. Over 40 million copies sold is pretty impressive. I think it's still in the top 10 of best selling albums.
A great recording that sounds much better than the rest of the cycle. Why? Because this was the only one recorded by engineers from Telarc.
On the TT... Raymond Lewenthal playing: Piano Concerto No. 4 by Anton Rubinstein Finale from the Piano Concerto No. 2 by Xaver Scharwenka Discogs lists this as "Released in 1974," but I bought my copy in 1971.

That’s a pretty popular album on the forum. I grew to hate it when it came out because it was over played so much. It doesn’t stand up to repeated listening for me, unlike early albums.

Wish I could afford an original Archiv box, but alas no. So until I get one offered in my budget, or I win the lottery, this one will have to do. I will say that while I've read some not so good things about the label, I find the sonics to be quite good on this particular collection.
I wish I hadn't seen that cover - not sure I will sleep tonight! He looks like he is auditioning for a remake of Jack the Ripper!!
I have a few of these Sine Qua Non LP's I purchased back in the mid 70's near the college campus for $1.99 - 2.99 each, though I have not played any of them for close to 40 years ... Here is one of my early favorites
Yes you're right. Frankly, I haven't had the incentive to look that hard because I have no issue with this edition. I'll be in a couple stores today and perhaps I'll find some.

I bought 'Crusade' a year or two after it was issued in 1967. Amazingly fluid guitar by the 18-year-old Mick Taylor. I've also had a copy of 'A Hard Road' with Peter Green since the early 70s.
