I was in Valencia, Spain last summer and went to the shop of Nacho Banos, who wrote the famous Blackguard Book. The guy builds also some incredible blackguard copies.

I had a chance to meet Billy Gibbons that same day, he's a blackguard lover too and a friend of Nacho.

Mick Taylor played a Tele with Bluesbreakers too, although this one has a modified tailpiece:

Danny Gatton, James Burton, Steve Cropper, Roy Buchanan... but don't forget Redd Volkaert. He even released a CD "No Stranger to a Tele."

Definitely. Redd is an incredible player and a friendly guy as well, he's Canadian and I think that's part of the reason. When I saw Merle Haggard & The Strangers in 2015, Redd joined the band as a special guest on that night. Merle had changed the way they played a number of his songs in the years after Redd left the band. You could tell Redd was taken by surprise on some songs and also very impressed by the guitar work of Merle's son, Ben.

Although not really known as a Tele player, I will be seeing him in two days, so I thought it'd be appropriate to post this:

Who knows? He just might play a Tele when I see him.

I have a black (no binding) 59 Esquire but it's a Fender Custom Shop Relic with maple neck and top loading bridge. It sounds not nearly as good when I play it. I think that Anderson guy knows a thing or two about Telecasting :uhhuh: Or, should I say Esquiring

Well, as it happened, Kramer did NOT play a Tele, he used his Stars & Bars Strat (or one of them, at least), but Rosie Flores played a Tele that night... well, almost! Actually it was a James Trussart telecaster with a Bigsby.
Flores and Kramer played with the same band on the same night, but they did not play together (at least, not on stage).
