    All of them!

Of those choices, he could probably make the most money off Earls Court. So that one.

Of course it won't be a single performance. It will be what he thinks the best version of each song from the multiple nights, tastefully touched up... :sigh:

I wish we could have a live album from every tour they did, but I doubt we'll ever get anything after 1973. I think Robert's voice from the '75 tour and Jimmy's inconsistent playing in '77 and '79 are going to hurt any chances of getting an official release... Unless they pick the best versions from different shows on those tours. I think HTEWW is probably the best bet from the choices on top.

I would give almost anything to get an official copy of either 6/21/77 or 6/23/77, but I don't believe there are multitracks of those shows, which is a shame because the whole band is on fire on those dates.

I saw them in Chicago on the first night. Amazing show. Tight and energetic. I find a lot of their live stuff to be boring. Way too much noodling about and show off solos. Heresy, I know.

Jimmy should release everything he has, and not drag it out. Audio and video. Box set or individual releases. They will sell.

Honestly, I'll take anything from that list. Or anything from "something else." Just gimme more Zeppelin.

I've always suspected 6/21/77's early bootleg fame has exaggerated its merits. All I've ever been able to hear in it is the same drugged-out mess that characterizes the tour as a whole. Page seems to be asleep on his feet at the beginning of "Sick Again".

I voted expanded HTWWW. Based on the new Rhino catalog and the fact that this would be a logical "next step" in the Super Deluxe campaign.

But I sure do hope we get those Japan '71 shows.

Now, now, these things mustn't be rushed...

The tapes are only 40 years old, you know. Practically still warm from the machine!

His guitar cable came unplugged at the beginning of Sick Again and that's why he dropped out for a few seconds. It had nothing to do with drugs.

My top 10 wish list (chronological order).

    - Bath 1970. With all the available footage as well.
    - Montreux 1970
    - Inglewood 1970
    - Copenhagen 1971 or something from "Return To Clubs" previously unreleased.
    - Montreux 1971. With all the available footage as well
    - Japan 1971. Especially with loads of material from the first night, 23 September.
    - Hamburg 1973. Or something from Europe 1973
    - Vancouver 1975
    - Cleveland 1977
    - Pontiac 1977. With the long time rumored full concert footage

this is Jimmy Page we're talking about - doesn't like to make work for himself (I say that as a long term fan of his music) so I'm willing to bet my wages that it'll simply be Southampton 1973.

Technically it's unreleased, although every Zephead in the universe has a copy.

I would be very pleased with an expanded, properly mastered HTWWW. Since it's the 50th anniversary, I would expect much more than that though with Japan and Montreux '71 at the top of my wish list along with a video release as well.

  18. We all want HTEWW, and we're all going to get HTWWW (again)

In fairness, his Seventies were the kind of experience it must take a very long time to rest up from.

I dont think it would be Southampton just based on how much Jimmy is a perfectionist when it comes to splicing up vocal takes from Robert on official releases to cover up any imperfections. And Southampton vocally has a TON of imperfections

I think How The West Was Won and a strong possibility for Earl`s Court.
I would like to think we are getting a series of live super deluxe boxes from each period.
Japan `71 obviously, but the idea that Page has more recordings now than 15 years ago!!!
    Imagine Paris 1973 complete!

Just a guess, one if the following:

    1) Earls Court 1975
    2) Compilation 1970 - 1979
    3) Japan 1971

I can't imagine it would be Knebworth or anything from 1977 forward. I don't think the Knebworth shows are all that hot, certainly not compared to something from 1972. I'd love to hear that it was Japan 1971 but that would be too good to be true. So maybe Earl's Court 75?
