We have all seen lists of everyone's favorite albums before. It's fun to do. However I thought a twist to this kind of listing. Only one album per band or artist. Why? Well for one it broadens the list allowing more artists to be on the list. I mean, I could put up a list that would have 5 Beatles albums, 3 Who albums etc...and the list although true to each one's heart. It doesn't allow for a better mix of artists. I will give you my list and you will see all of mine are Rock albums, but because I am limited to one per artist, there are some surprises. I did allow that if an artist was in a band, but released a solo album that both of those would not hurt variety of the list itself. I think however if a band, let's say AC/DC has two different lead singers, it is still AC/DC and thus shouldn't be allowed. It can also be any genre of music. The lists should prove interesting and give insight into what music compels us, challenges us, and gets our motor running. Have some fun.

Bought it for “When the heart Ruled The Mind” and liked every other song just as much. Lucky to see them in concert which was one of the best two or three shows I ever saw.

Steve Hackett has resurrected the song recently. There's a you tube clip from earlier in the year of him playing it with Steve Rothery also on guitar. It's a fine version.

My apologies. I don't have the computer chops to link the clip!
