I've been listening to this one. Definitely worth it for any other prog metal fans. It's a fantastic album.

The very first Loudness album I heard / bought back in 1984...I now have just aquired my 102nd Loudness release (30+dvds/60+cds etc etc)!!

This album certainly opened a Pandora's box and lead me towards enjoying many other Japanese bands. Seen the band quite a lot now too and they are brilliant live. Overall my favorite band just ahead of the mighty UFO

Funny, I had a misadventure with it too. Arrived one day last week but the case was smashed to bits. Returned it to Amazon, didn't even open it. Got the replacement already (intact) but been too busy working to listen to anything....

There way a time when if I couldn't listen to my music( anything from a bad speaker cable to receiver channel going out and all scenarios in-between) the first thing on my agenda list above all else was to buy what I needed to solve the problem then do all other things in life once the music issue was fixed!I miss those "simple "days of my 20's.It seems to have reversed on me as I reached my 50's some how.Too many bills and too much time working to keep ahead LOL.Does this mean I'm all grown up now?

    I hear you my friend,I hear you!:righton:

My only purchase at a record store on Sat. was this...on cd.

Just pure, old school metal, sounding as fresh as ever. The entire album is an ear worm imo.

That is sad news. Glenn is 71 believe it or not (or will be this year). There has been a noticeable decline in his playing, posture, and look for several years now. I would think that this would mean the end of the band sometime soon. He and Ian Hill have been the only two constants throughout the years (yes, I realize he is technically not an original member), but has been the driving force in the band since he joined.

Some obscure technical speed/thrash from 1991.

Also, I heard about Glenn. It's a real shame that he won't be able to do the tour and that he was kept from doing it by something as bad as Parkinson's but honestly, the end of Priest has been coming over the horizon for a while now. I think this has all but confirmed it.

Anyone remember Dave Lombardo's post Slayer band? I bought the first two releases when they came out('95 &'97?)lost interest in the band eventually. Haven't listened for long time. Can get Slayeristic (that's a hard shadow to get out from under)at times.Gus Chambers (I just now found out ) passed away(2008?) sounds good on this song IMHO. To me,Gus is a bit limiting vocally to where the music can go and gets redundant-ish as the more I listen the more I kinda go....eh....But, that said I think there are some cools songs here and there that Gus sounds good on. Dave sounds great.

I had The Power Of Inner Strength on cassette. I liked the song Hostage To Heaven, the rest was so so.
If memory serves Bobby Gustafson from Overkill was supposed to be their guitarist but it never panned out.
