You put too much faith. There's no instrumental section on surviving acetate and of course they didn't back to original multi tracks so...

Already listed for pre-order on eBay for $125. I might as well give up right now.

The guy listing it doesn't have a copy and probably doesbn't even have special access. All he has is wishful thinking. He is just putting up the listing in the hopes he can go to the record store, get in line early, and pick one up that is already pre-flipped. If he can't get one he just cancels the order. 6,000 copies is a lot. Don't give up hope yet, I think you will be able to get one.

Sure, give up, then some jerk can buy 2 so they have a “backup copy.” Ugh.

I'm not quite sure how they do things but they actually can't list it as "For Sale" yet because RSD items are supposed to be sold at local stores and not online. However, the usefulness of their listing is that it gives you an idea about the price tag for this thing, which certainly put my mind at ease. My anxiety about RSD items is,

    1. Do I have a chance in heck of scoring a copy, and,
    2. Can I afford it if I can put my hands in it?

If this LP lists at $22, then at least I don't have to worry about the cost, I just have to get there in time to buy it.

But as for the Bull Moose listing, perhaps when they enter anything into their system it goes to the website even if they can't sell it online.

The day after RSD Bull Moose has an online sale for left over stock.

Hmmm, I'll have to remember that if I can't get a copy locally.

I don’t think bull moose puts their leftovers up until Monday. However, other retailers put stuff up the next day.

The problem is - at $22, almost nobody has to worry about the cost.

Finite supply + very low retail cost = very high demand = black market at true value. Economics 101.

I seriously doubt this one will make the leftovers pile.

I know it's unlikely that I'll get one, but if it were $100 I wouldn't even try.

People get all anxious about limited edition stuff, and that's understandable to a certain extent. For my part I'm going to speak to someone at my local and ask how I might stand a chance of getting a copy. I literally have never been to a store on RSD so I dunno if there's going to be 100 people in line or what. And if I don't, well, it's only entertainment.

I think it depends on where you go. If you go to a popular store in a large city, there will be a lot of people. I've heard stories of people starting to line up the evening before.

    Know where to look?

The poster you responded to lives in Atlanta. So I was referring to the leftovers that Bullmoose puts on its website on Monday after RSD. It won’t be ever available on the Bullmoose website if they only press 6,000 copies at $20-$25 retail.
