Ok, continuing my Kinks favorite songs list, here's 77-80. I didn't include 76 because they didn't release an album then. The albums in this round are Sleepwalker, Misfits, Low Budget, & One For The Road.
    My picks are:
    Jukebox Music
    Misfits
    A Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy
(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman
    Celluloid Heroes (Live)

    Honorable mentions:
    Sleepwalker
    Low Budget
    Little Bit Of Emotion

Really? I find there are lots of hidden gems in this period. One of my favorite periods of theirs.

I should have said up to that point. It gets worse. May be a few good songs but the way they were played, sung and produced was to their detriment.

Why is it assumed that everyone sees these threads immediately? I never saw this until 10 minutes ago.
For me, once it drops off the first page of forums, I am not likely to see it.

    Sleepwalker
    Juke Box Music
On the Outside (bonus track on Sleepwalker CD)
    A Rock and Roll Fantasy
    Catch Me Now I'm Falling

Sleepwalker tour in Iowa City 1977? Is my 1st show of theirs. Wasn’t interested in the more theatrical shows of the previous years. Opening act was Cheap Trick. Who I was very familiar with from the Chicago area club scene.
And I agree with Landhorses, Misfits is their best album of this era.
