A demented sound pastiche, an artwork suited to offend everyone, what could go wrong?

I've been on a bit of a Phish bender lately. Re-listened to LivePhish 6 last night and it knocked me out.

Seeing them (for the only the second time ever!) this summer so gotta bone up...

There are such great selections going on here, it reminds me of trips to
the record store where payday elicited a large bundle of vinyl under my
arm on the way to the register, half of the bundle being the last two pages
of this thread... 'oh eureka' the cashier cried.

Truly ignored. One of the best openings to an album I can recall, and I'm
sure some of the 223 people that bought it feel the same way. I have a good
bit of RW and I've always found this OST to be infectious.

This one is special. A friend of mine who is a good guitar player tried to down
play this. I didn't understand just what he meant and told him so.

The 801, Roxy Music, Illuminations, Steve Miller, the true wizard the true star, Todd
    Rundgren
... does it get any better? No. It was great seeing some Weather Report on
here after I had just put on a live one; Sweetnighter is probably my favorite of their catalog along with Mysterious Traveler.

NP:... some jet-fueled fusion while sipping a Manhatten to get me going for a conference championship event on the telly.

It's hard for me to stop at one X album.

    Wild Gift, man.

Although "Universal Corner" is on this album, a live version of it is in the bonus material of Under The Big Black Sun CD (Elektra/Rhino R2 74372). They need to officially release some live shows of these guys from back in the day. I can't think of any such releases off the top of my head.

What does that mean, when an LP is roached out? An LP jacket would make a horrible, too big, and unusable roach clip.

I go out of my way to drop doobage references, even where they make no sense.

**** me, this sounds amazing. "Crazy Love" is on at the moment and sounds miles better than the previous CD versions I've heard.
