I'm not sure I do either. I just looked out the window at Siberia.

My favorite, or at least the one I'm imprinted with. Love Capt. Hook as the narrator.

Some one told me ages ago that the drum guy did not quite get it right at the opening of Zarathustra, on this recording, I'm still trying to spot it.
The rest is superb, like a live performance, it breathes.

I couldn't agree more. Many of these recordings sound pretty bad.

Yeah, they were Rockaway pressings. Though over all sound was just like dub tape, strings tone was very good.

By Mahler, it works, and I have a thing for Fassbaender.

(CD Sony Classical 88875130192) 2017 .... didn`t listen often to Arcadi Volodos platters, but based on a wise classical music lover`s hint gave this recent late Brahms recording a try - and love it .... Arcadi Volodos makes sensitive use of his seamless technique to illuminate even the slightest subtleties ....

So I just heard parts of MA could get up to 2 foot of snow from the latest nor'easter. This is really a tale of two New England states - MA vs. CT ... :shake:

I like summer in Alaska but not summer in CT, which is too humid for me. Winter generally does not bother me ...
