I wasn't sure of the characters name. At first I thought the kid was saying "Mr. Chucky Cheese" but it is "Mr. Chuckel Teeth".

I haven't seen any of the new season.
Probably will bing watch it after the last episode.

Good episode that reflected what the show did well in the first four to five seasons. I think this season has been a marked improvement over the previous one. I don't know how Chris Carter will figure out how to carry on without Gillian Anderson. Perhaps they will do what they did with season eight with Mulder occasionally appearing.

 

Really bad episode lazy...they did something like in 2 second season
but with the devil teacher so much better..
Last weeks was much better makes you wonder about all electronics we have making us
very lazy.

 

I liked both. Yes, last weeks episode was a bit of a throw back but that actually worked in its favor IMHO. Mr. Chuckle Teeth made it a unique experience.

OK that was more disturbing than "Home".

 

Mr. Chuckle Teeth sounds like an insult from The Jerky Boys. "Hey now Chuckle Teeth. You listen to me!"

 

yeah it definitely upped the ante. too bad the story suffered from lack of coherence.

 

Bad, bad episode as terrible as Rain King and Fight Club episodes..awful.

Wow. That was bizarre. And that's not even the right word for it.

 

There hasn't been a bad episode this season, but overall it's not very good. It just feels so disjointed.

I wish they'd embrace serialization full-on and just tell one story with the season. The mythology episodes standing on their own amid a bunch of "monster of the week" episodes may have worked 20 years ago but now I feel that it is a waste of my time.

 

I wish they had done that last season, devoted the entirety of the six episode season to the mythology, wrapped it up once and for all and moved on.

Theorizing. All the talk of miracles, faith and the symbolic moment of Mulder relighting her candle in the church points towards Scully being pregnant. Also Scully and Mulder slept together a few episodes back and William was a big part of this season too.

 

It makes sense. And she whispers something in his ear that the audience isn't privy to.

 

The tech episode was better than Electric Dreams. As I said, I've really enjoyed most of this this series. Glad I hadn't made up my mind before watching it.

 

Oh come on what? I don't get the masochism some people have where they keep watching something they think is "terrible" so they can keep complaining about it.

I've used this example here in other threads--I can't stand Bob Dylan, but I don't feel the need to go into Bob Dylan threads and complain about him. I guess call it a question of priorities.
