That's for sure! Enough with the gimmicks...let's get the pressings right and then move on to laser sketching and colored vinyl, almost all of which is full of noise.

I'm not sure who's responsible for it, but I've just noticed a fantastic find on the French list : Areski Belkacem's Un Beau Matin, originally published by Saravah in 1970. Areski is, of course, Brigitte Fontaine's husband and main collaborator. The album is long out of print and was only released outside of France once (as a limited edition Japanese CD). Not sure if it's being made available worldwide this time, but it's definitely something to look out for.

Last month, I bought a bundle of ten albums from Superior Viaduct for $100 (special offer), one of which was Areski’s “Je Ne Connais Pas Cet Homme”. Very interesting LP. Never heard him before then.

I`m getting up early Record Store Day,heading to Boston.I really want to hear Pink Floyd`s Piper mono vinyl the most.Grateful Dead & The Doors will be nice.If I see those in stock I`ll grab those. The Who Kids Are Alright records show up in used bins frequently.I`m not sure this will sound better. And Yes I can`t pass up the Zeppelin single. Some other titles look interesting but maybe I`ll wait for priced down leftovers.

Can you get me one if it’s the Sundazed?
That seems like a poor way to store them. If they are warped we will know why

Thank God we're not getting a lot of the "I'm too good for RSD/don't have time to wait in line" comments. Colored vinyl is a very valid reason for going to RSD, so is alcohol and lots of fan people to mingle with!

Surprised there's not a remix of Hey Jude / Revolution on 45 coming out. That would seem logical.
