Ok, another Beatle thread but from a personal perspective. I've wanted to do this for a while but I put it off until now. I'll present it as a visual trivia challenge.

Last year my family and I vacationed in London and arranged a private Beatles tour through a local agency. It was beyond my wildest dreams! Our driver took us to many Beatle historical "hot spots" and we took many pictures.

So, here's the contest. I'll post a picture and the first to identify it wins only recognition. It will start very simple and I promise they will become more challenging as it progresses. I'm really curious, as some should be extremely hard to identify, if and how quickly the Beatle experts will. The only hint is that all the pictures are taken in London.

    Here's the first and easiest:

Your pictures bring back many memories!
London is a great place for Beatles fans. Many history to see there.
When I was at the Abbey road crossing it was pretty weird to believe that I'm actually there and it was quite familar although I've never been there before but had seen so many pictures of it. Very surreal!

Yes it was that way for me also, very surreal. I have never been there in my life but after 50 years of reading books, viewing pictures, videos, street web cams, etc. it did not feel foreign. I felt as if I have been there many times!

Yes! The former Apple Boutique on Baker Street lost large amounts of money for the Beatles. The surrounding businesses protested to the large mural painted on the building and legally had it removed. The Beatles liquidated by giving all the items in the store away to anyone who showed up to take it. This resulted in a chaotic crowd event as everyone was trying to get to the merchandise first. Here's a before picture:

That mural should have not have been removed, it should have been heritage-listed!

Yes! I wondered if anyone would zoom in on the blue plaque. Hey Jude was recorded here. But the plaque pays tribute to David Bowie.

Here's a picture taken outside Trident with a window posting of some of the most famous songs recorded there. Our guide can be seen in the reflection taking this photo.

Yes! The former "EMI House" where the picture for the cover of the "Please, Please, Me" album was taken. The building has been remodeled since. I think the outside banisters that The Beatles were standing on still exist somewhere.

Doing good Mal! It will get tougher.
