Nicely done on The Church. This had fallen off my radar but the price is solid. Glad to have ordered, thanks for the add!
Okay, here is a good deal and NO Chit-Chat The group is TIAMAT - I believe this is a reissue of their first album. I know NOTHING about the pedigree of the pressing itself, but I personally REALLY like the album (and the group) Their arrangements are fairly simple, but there is a nice Goth mood overall. ***EDIT I had to correct the link - the 1st was the CD https://www.amazon.com/Astral-Sleep...swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1523685172&sr=1-3 Now, I gave the sales page with ALL new albums available because the cost is SO dang low and below Amazon Prime's cost. I really like these guys; they are a Goth/Metal group that I personally find very consistent from album to album for this Genre. Their early albums like this one are much more 'Metal' and their later ones are more melodic. Apparently it is pressed in Germany. (so much for NO Chit-Chat... )
Jimi Hendrix - Miami Pop Festival 2 LP - $12.92 https://www.amazon.com/Miami-Festiv...swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1523708150&sr=8-1
Ordered this earlier... what a great price for such a nice package! It was temporarily out of stock so fingers crossed I get one.
Thanks Bro! But, a good thing to remember, according to the BS remaster thread, for some odd reason this particular 2016 version most everyone thought sounded pretty bad and highly recommended the earlier Chris Bellman 2011 remaster IIRC...
I clicked on your link and jumped on the Amazon Warehouse deal for $9.87 delivered. I've had pretty good luck with Amazon Warehouse lately.
IIRC after reading the BS thread until my eyes fell out (I got better...) That was the only real big disappointment in the newer coloured series. There were some varying preferences about the S/T and I THINK Paranoid, but pretty much universally most felt the mix / master of Vol. 4 sounded funny.
http://a.co/gsHpVyz Dr. John - In The Right Place (Mardi Gras multi-colored vinyl) for $13.74. I wish I could figure out how to add a picture because the album looks pretty funky and cool.
A recent review seems to indicate that it isn't colored vinyl. Amazon.com: Customer reviews: In The Right Place (Colored Vinyl)
I saw the review but ordered it anyway, it is in my possession now and it is indeed colored. It looks a lot like the picture that Black Sheriff posted, except mine is yellow towards the middle and darker on the outside.
I think I'm gonna snag it... I was not familiar with the group. I really like about half the songs, the others are a little 'Honky-Tonk' for my taste. BUT... I just can NOT pass up that vinyl! Thanks mate! ***EDIT I meant to mention that this is a nice little precursor to the later George Clinton stuff!
Please don't use a.co links. That's a shyster Columbian outfit that just leeches referral fees. Here's the proper link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E0W8RCM/
FREEMAN - s/t [vinyl] $10.99 (currently out of stock) https://smile.amazon.com/FREEMAN/dp/B00KHJUYC8 Gene Ween's second solo LP, first w/ original songs. AMG compares this favorably to McCartney: Freeman - Freeman | Songs, Reviews, Credits | AllMusic
a.co links are provided by amazon when you click the "share" button on an item's listing. Nothing to do with Columbia. Or were you making a joke? I can't tell.
