That is a distinct possibility. Fans should try to keep their expectations in check. After 37 years, the potential for disappointment is great.

I hope this is a chance for "Just like that" finally to appear on an album that will possibly follow.
    But I doubt it ....

Looks like their record sales are set to soar some more.

I’m optimistic. Benny certainly hasn’t lost any of his compositional skills based on his recent works. Agnetha is in fine vocal form on her most recent release. I haven’t really heard Frida since her 1996 release, but I’m assuming her voice should also be in good shape due to light use over the years.

Wait until December? Damn. Make 8 more songs and gives a new album.

I'm not sure why The Day Before You Came and Under Attack are considered proper close out singles to their legacy. What's the general reasoning for that? Something thematically? Sound like normal top 40 sings to me. These new ones could be better close-outs.

I hope the Abbatar's have had some work. The video of the museum holograms look pretty lame.

Because those two songs were Abba’s last two new songs.

But they weren't written with that sentiment in mind to my knowledge. They just happened to be the last.

Indeed! As exciting as the prospect of getting to hear brand new ABBA material is, I still wish they'd had the good sense not to do it... It fills me with dread to think of the obligatory pitch correction and whatnot that is part and parcel of the present-day music production that in all likelihood will be forced upon these songs...

It sounds like you have already made up your mind not to like these new recordings.
For the rest of us this is great news and we cannot wait to hear them...

It's supposedly a souped-up version of the museum holograms. So, the whole "reunion" will essentially stand or fall on the quality of the technology.

No, I most certainly have not made up my mind... That wouldn't be like me at all. I'm one of life's great worriers, so I'm just worried...

So, for the record, the second Song is called "Don't shot me down", what i hope is a real stomper.

Ha! I dont think theres much chance of that. Benny and Bjorn have been with their second wives for more than 30 years. With Aggie and Frida, less than ten. Puts things in perspective real quick.

Grant Life is a rock, but the radio rolled me!

I'm very interested to hear what ABBA has come up with almost 40 years since their last album.

This gives hope to all those who still want to see the hit-era Fleetwood Mac together again.:D
