Yeah, that's Australian dollars. We always get slugged more. Freight charges, I suppose.

Am I missing something here, or did that seller just ask for my $300 on a seven word description of a rumored box set with unknown titles?

Yep. And it appears to be the only pre-order for this on the Net. Bizarre.

While a fool and his money are soon parted, the seller is going to have to try a bit harder to get this sometimes fool to part with mine. :tsk:

So, since 'Tales' is 2 LP's, which one of Steve Wilson's remixes is going to be left out of the set?

6LP Box of Yes-The Steven Wilson Remixes Expected | …essential

On June 29, Atlantic will bundle up ALL the Steven Wilson remixes for a packaged 6LP Box to be known as Yes – The Steven Wilson Remixes. this would, no doubt, provide the available updated YES titles in their original format (no extras like those found in the CD/DVD-Audio/BD-Audio packages) on 180g-weight vinyl LP for the avid LP collector. With a suggested retail price at $120 USD, this Box might be a excellent update acquisition of the classic early YES period.

I'm saddened to see this as it makes a Going for the One remix an even more remote possibility than it already was. :(

Five Steven Wilson's remixes for YES (official) are being issued on vinyl for the first time in a 6LP box set "Yes: The Steven Wilson Remixes". http://smarturl.it/YES-SWREMIXES-6LP

The set will be released by RHINO on 29th June, and includes remixed versions of: The Yes Album (1971), Fragile (1971), Close To The Edge (1972), the double album Tales From Topographic Oceans (1973), and Relayer (1974), all cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering Studios from the high resolution 96/24 master files.

Additionally the box set features artwork created specifically for the set by Roger Dean, with two of the albums, Close To The Edge and Tales From Topographic Oceans, having new cover art, while the remaining covers have all been reworked.

Just to pre-empt the question, I'm afraid there are no plans for any further Yes albums to be remixed, either in stereo or 5.1, so this set is definitive in terms of the remixes.

Just saw this on Facebook. Glad it's Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman's Mastering for those interested. I'm not, as the 5.1 mixes are how I listen to these now, with the exception, of course, of Steve and Kevin's cut of Fragile.
    Enjoy !

I'm hoping Steve Wilson doesn't touch any music by artists I actually like.

Remixes are a crime, especially if the original recording artists aren't involved.

I didn't think Wilson did Fragile. Did he? I thought that one was Jakko.
