I think a lot of us here can understand this level of obsession with detail, so I can't slight him for that. I agree with the above comments that state this is essentially like Lucas' own revisions, though. It's cool that he's doing it, and good for him, but I can't say it really interests me more than in passing. The original trilogy is just fine as it was. Count me in for restoration only.
I love this bootleg unlicensed belt: Unlicensed Star Wars Fabric Belt ('Let The Force Be With You' Buckle) - Star Wars Collectors Archive "Let the force be with you.. Come on just let it be with you, already!".
An alternative look at the Prequels, with Japanese voice actors and better subtitle dialogue - all condensed into a single almost 3 hour film. The Blackened Mantle, this is called. It changes the story around a bit but it does make Anakin a more likable character. I'd highly recommend it.
Aww...the flight to Alderaan is cancelled. This is cute though! I like how this "holiday" is getting bigger each year.
Someone put some real thought into that one, especially - if it's real - considering that it surely didn't stay posted for long.
Same here. All my friends were getting the big star wars items but my folks never got me any of the large star wars vehicles. I only ever got the Slave 1 as a birthday present and I personally purchased a tauntaun with my allowance. Man I was so envious of the other kids who had the death star play set, the At-At or millennium falcon. To this day when I see a Millennium Falcon toy sold at Toys r Us I always think back, "man why didn't they buy it for me". I think they compensated later on by getting me the big vehicles from the GI.Joe toy line
I know I had the Imperial Shuttle and the B-Wing, both of which kicked major butt. But I didn't have nearly as many SW toys as some of my friends. I was more envious of my best friend who had every GI Joe toy (and all the coolest transformers). I wanted a Skystriker so much, man!
My parents bought me and my brother all of the Star Wars, GI Joe and Transformer toys. I am 43 and they are probably still paying for them.
Random Star Wars fact #439932 Darth Vader's voice box was based on the voice box used by the Phantom in Phantom of the Paradise.
It was shown on MTV back in 1983, but I've never seen it before. It's the Lapti Nek music video, a longer song and dance sequence than the one that appears in Jedi.
There are already countless discussions about this elsewhere on the web, but I think one of the stupidest things that fans debate over is whether or not it's Luke's lightsaber and/or severed hand we see falling into the abyss below Cloud City after Luke falls out the vent and lands on the weather vane. There's plenty of unbelievable stuff in the Star Wars films, but I can think of a million reasons why this particular theory is completely absurd.
If Luke had died in ROTJ Rian Johnson wouldn't have had a chance to ruin the character 30 some years later.
