Amazon will likely match Walmart.com's price if you point it out to them (they did that a few months ago when I ordered my Green Acres set), but I wouldn't expect them to match an in-store price because they would have no way to verify that price is legitimate. And, as has been pointed out, there are so many bootleg copies of this on eBay that I would hesitate to buy a copy from a third party seller on Walmart or Amazon since you might not get a legitimate set.

My local Walmart had 4 copies this morning, the other day they were $69, today $49. I did not pick one up because the boxes were all damaged and the plastic wrap was all torn on all 4. I will check out another Walmart to see if copies are in better shape.

dreaded this show, as it marked the end of cartoons when i was a tike on channel 50.

when older i watched it, it was ok.

like I said a few times before...in store pricing means nothing to Amazon...

Not worried about it being legit or not, buying in the store I expect it to be, but I am not going to pay for damaged boxes or torn plastic wrap. If the boxes were in good shape I could overlook the plastic, but all the boxes were bent, creased, etc ... nope, not paying that much for that.

of course...I too can't see Walmart selling a Chinese pirated copy... I was referring to online (not Walmart & Amazon) especially ebay. it's flooded with pirates.

I caved once and ordered a dvd of House Of Dark Shadows just because I really wanted to watch it again and it was all I could hunt down. I know I payed less than $10 so it wasn't a big sacrifice but geez, it's easily one of the worst things I've seen. Thank God the blu ray came out!

I just flipped on MeTV and saw that Green Acres was on.

Fred was showing Oliver his new tractor which included air conditioning, power steering, and a stereo 8-track tape player and radio (!).

So yes, in addition to having a pig for a son, Fred is an audiophile. I always knew I liked that guy. :)

Hank Kimball. That is all. Well it’s not all you got Arnold and Mr. Haney and Eb and the occasional visit from a Petticoat Junction character but Hank Kimball!

Season One had a ghost story "The Ballad of Molly Turgis"

Season Two had "The Saucer Season" about little green men.

The way he looks up at the sky when ruminating. As if he was actually thinking.

He was creepy, but pretty harmless. Like Wile E Coyote, he never gave up, no matter how often he failed. Great character, one of many on Green Acres.

I always loved how within 5 minutes of the show starting Oliver would get pissed off.
Or whenever Lisa would mangle an English language phrase or word, it would seem the rest of Hooterville would also use the same mangling. Ex: blowing on the buggle
