I call him a genius with no hesitation. He’s one of our greatest songwriters.

Burt makes chord/tempo/key changes seem easy. The average listener probably doesn’t even notice the radical aspects of many of his songs.

His music is much more progressive than a lot of music marketed as progressive.

I agree with this. Quite a catalog of great songs. Always seemed to be a class act also.

I've had parts of the "Casino Royale" soundtrack stuck in my head for 50 years!

Burt is a ladies' man and a master composer of timeless music. He's developed a unique sound and style which has become instantly recognizable.

Much love for Dionne Warwick and of course, The Stranglers recorded 'Walk On By' when Hugh Cornwell was still the singer

Just saw him wrap up a two-hour show about an hour and a half ago near Palm Springs. Beautiful. Where are we going to hear songs like this when he's gone?

I was just listening to a mono promo of Reach Out I got from a forum member here. I had no idea a mono even existed. It sounds nice and tight.

I saw him back in the late 90's -- one of the best concerts I have ever seen.
