Will Hader stars as a hit man/ex-hitman turned wannabe actor in a new HBO (at least so far dark) comedy "Barry" which premiered yesterday. I think this is a funny show. . . I'm going to keep watching. Henry Winkler and Stephen Root were good in this as well. Anyone else catch this one?
Really enjoyed the first episode. Excellent supporting cast and while the show has similar shades of Gross Pointe Blank, carves out its own identity as to not be considered a straight rip off. Also, seeing Henry Winkler curse always makes me laugh out loud. "Delta Burke is a lot of work"
Watched second episode tonight and dug it. Really fun.Was surprised that Hader directed this one as well.
I just finished the 1st season. I like it. It's not Sopranos, Breaking Bad, etc., but it's good enough for me.
Hope you stuck with it, the last few episodes really delivered. I was losing interest and had fallen behind. Sat down last weekend and watched the last 3 and was very glad that I did
I love this show. Surprisingly adept at switching back and forth from comedy to drama, sometimes shockingly so. I'm in for Season 2 if there is one. Dan
I agree! The show finished strong. I was sad to see it was over already. I’ll be watching for season 2 if it gets renewed.
Excellent show. Seriously dark, especially that last episode, but Hader plays it well. Also, we need to see much more of NoHo Hank.
