You’ll dig it for sure! Looks like a beauty! (I could be wrong but think I’ve bought some nice music from u on Classifieds - dang, my brain cells - I miss some of em - but am I right?)
I haven't seen you around for a while. Glad to see you back. Leave it to the Stones to bring you out.
Yep...UK Abbey Road! ....& yes, something else (can’t remember) - great member & outstanding seller. I cherish that record...final copy!
www.musicweek.com/brands/read/selfridges-partners-with-bravado-on-rolling-stones-installation/072407 From May 14 to June 3, The Rolling Stones @ Selfridges, Corner Shop will appear in Selfridges in London, Birmingham, Manchester Exchange and Trafford. Universal Music Group’s merchandise and brand management company has worked with the retailer to create a shopping experience that immerses fans into the world of the Stones. The shop windows will include a display of the band’s iconic stage outfits, including a denim jack from the 1989 Steel Wheels US tour. The Selfridges installations will also have screens showing the Havana Moon concert in Cuba from 2016, and their first ever vinyl box set ahead of its June 15 release. The shopping experience will also see Selfridges and Bravado give the iconic red Rolling Stones tongue a makeover with a range of Yellow Label t-shirts, hoodies and jackets along with a dedicated kidswear collection. I'm not sure if this means the box is available, or it just means there's a screen showing a promo for the first ever (sic) vinyl box set ahead of its June 15 release...Probably the latter. I will go along to check it anyway, albeit I won't be able to buy the box, anyway...
Sounds like the box will be sold at Selfridges. Looking forward to hearing about it from people who can go and get one early!
I was there yesterday. The box set is there on display but not for sale. It's a numbered set limited to 5000.
