Paul McCartney Archive Collection - 'Forthcoming Releases' [TBC]

Anyway me expect these to arrive on time? I know several people had issues with the last batch. I believe mine came about a week after the release date.

 

Just got a shipment notification from Bullmoose! Woohoo!

 

Wow, I had no idea the release date for the 4 new vinyl reissues was coming up so soon. It feels like only three weeks ago they announced them.

 

Wow so jealous! I was apprehensive about ordering these from them, but I should have! Im gonna have to wait until my purchase from Maccas website ships... Who knows how long that will take

 

I actually had to purchase Chaos from Paul's site because at the time, Bullmoose didn't have it in stock. So I'll be waiting for that one too. Was his site slow shipping for the other batch of colored vinyl? I used uDiscover last time.

 

I don’t know about the last batch but anything I’ve ordered for them in the past has been slower than Arnie’s Yaks!

Just got my shipping notice and tracking numbers from bullmoose. All 4 color vinyl shipped and says it is due to arrive tomorrow.

 

Did anybody else order their colored vinyl from Amazon? My order hasn't been canceled but it hasn't been shipped yet. It says it's supposed to arrive Friday by 8 pm.

Just picked up three of the reissues. I passed on the Thrillington. All colored vinyl. Just listened to New, sounds pretty much like the original pressing. It however, is not a gatefold and does not include the booklet that the original housed. Greatest hits on blue vinyl with the poster. Have not opened chaos and creation yet

They’ve removed the delivery estimate on my order of Chaos, I don’t think Amazon’s going to come through.

I am not afraid to knock them down a peg when need be. Still, to not have a gatefold and booklet for New is a poor action. They could have released a different LP if they wanted to save the extra 50 cents. But since they decided on New, then they should have preserved its original gatefold format.

 

Is Chaos a gatefold?

 

In view of this, can anyone imagine Captital reproducing any of the Deluxe box sets / book sets - I know I can't.
The New LP package is a lazy, lazy way of putting the albums back on the racks.

 

I did. All four still have the same status as yours. I ordered from a store in Winston-Salem as well that had the previous color vinyl.

 

I agree. I’m anxious to hear whether or not Chaos is a gatefold. Interesting that the 2017 color reissues included gatefolds yet NEW doesn’t.
