so when you click the "share" link right on the amazon page and get the short link instead of the super long address in the bar, who is getting a referral fee?

If that's the one mastered by Kevin Gray, it's a great-sounding LP. I listened to mine a few weeks ago, and thought (again!), what a punchy, big-sounding guitar rock record!
Yeah, I just got clarification from a mod that indirect links are not allowed. I was just trying to share some of the best deals off the site. Thanks!
Another good deal on Jayhawks also mastered by Kevin Gray. "Tomorrow The Green Grass" https://www.amazon.com/Tomorrow-Gre...rd_wg=8NzGp&psc=1&refRID=XK633M5D4CGX2NQFBFQT
Thank you for the heads up on availability & mastering info on this Haggis, greatgooglymoogly, & MYKE! Just grabbed the 2nd to last copy (more on the way). One of my favorite albums from the early 90's, I will now have it on vinyl for the first time. After a week of torrential rains and flooding in northern Illinois I will be singing along to Waiting For the Sun in a couple days!
I didn't even know this existed. It's their best album and yet it usually gets skipped over by the audiophile labels.
Because there's nothing special about it. Believe me, I bought it the day it was released, and it has no difference whatsoever, to an original I bought in 1977. The silver banner was a series MOFI trotted out, meaning those titles were NOT from the masters. Lynyrd Skynyrd - Street Survivors .
Dang just bought this a few weeks ago for $23. Both that and HTH are the KG remasters, vinyl ex s was clean flat and sounds fantastic
I played my old MCA CD of Street Survivors last night. It sounds great. I had the MOFI and sold it a while back. Nothing special.
Thanks all, good to know. That Lynyrd Skynyrd box set from 1991 has most of the album in excellent mastering, and at least in digital, I think that's about as good as one can hope for now. Shame the original masters are MIA.
Get the DE if you don't have it already. Includes the original, scrapped tracks, plus 5 live tracks, and my personal favorite, a 7.5 minute version of That Smell !!! : Lynyrd Skynyrd - Street Survivors .
Nobody knows, this was discussed years ago, when this was released. Maybe second, or third generation tapes ? mofi silver label vinyl series - Google Search .
